Advanced Dental Technology Nocatee

Modern Dentistry at Your Fingertips

The evolution of dentistry can be seen through the various services, materials, and techniques used by dentists and lab technicians. Another significant change that has occurred is the type of technologies used to diagnose, plan, and ultimately treat various dental problems. At Palm Leaf Dental, we recognize the benefits of advanced dental technology in Nocatee, which is why you’ll find some of the most modern solutions used in-house. From same-day crowns and digital X-rays to intraoral cameras and digital impressions, you’ll achieve greater comfort, faster results, and a more patient-friendly experience.

CAD/CAM Same-Day Dental Crown Software & In-House Milling Machines

Patients can avoid longer wait times by choosing CAD/CAM same-day dental crowns. Using specialized software and our in-house milling unit, we can treat a damaged tooth as well as secure a newly crafted dental crown in a single appointment – no temporary required!

Digital Dental Impression System

When a custom restoration is required (i.e., a dental crown, bridge, veneer, etc.), we can provide a more comfortable and timely way to capture the mold of a patient’s mouth. Instead of cold dental putty, we use digital impressions. The handheld device scans a person’s teeth and gums, creating a 3D model that is used to fabricate the corresponding restoration more accurately.

Digital Dental X-Rays

While dental X-rays have been around for decades, the use of darkrooms, harsh chemicals, and high levels of radiation are no longer necessary. With digital X-rays now in a majority of dental offices, these provide higher-resolution images that can be viewed in seconds. Not to mention, they emit far less radiation, making them a safer solution when needing to see below the gumline.

Intraoral Camera

Patients can now see what is happening inside their mouth thanks to our intraoral camera. Designed to look like a pen, the device scans the teeth and gums, projecting a real-time image onto a chairside monitor. The display allows our team to explain and educate patients on their oral health and which treatment(s) can be used to improve the state of their smile.
