Get to Know Dr. Nami
Palm Leaf Dental is thrilled to welcome Dr. Nami to our practice! Dr. Nami and his wife recently moved to Jacksonville from Arizona to be closer to her family, and they’re both excited to settle down in Jacksonville with their sweet pups. Dr. Nami brings an impressive resume of top-notch education, training, and experience with him. He loves to build a personal connection with patients and provide the best possible comprehensive dental care. Dr. Nami looks forward to meeting you during your visit! Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Nami is passionate about dentistry and learning the latest dental technology. He began his college career with the study of kinesiology, the scientific study of how the human body moves. When he became interested in dentistry, there was no looking back. He pursued his doctorate and then continued his education through training in topics such as: oral surgery, root canal therapy, advanced socket grafting using platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), and Invisalign. His cutting-edge techniques will be of tremendous benefit to our patients. He is dedicated to continuing education, and staying at the forefront of advancements in digital dentistry, implants, and other specialized treatments to ensure the highest quality care.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Nami earned his Kinesiology degree from Tehran University and California State University of Northridge. He then pursued his doctoral degree at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He currently undergoes continuing education in various topics including digital dentistry, implants, extraction techniques and socket preservation, phlebotomy and platelet-rich plasma technique, and Invisalign. Other than seeking extensive training,
Dr. Nami is also an active member of several professional organizations such as:

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
At home, Dr. Nami lives with his wife and their two pups, Peanut and Teddy. Together, they love traveling to explore national and state parks. The happy couple enjoys trying out new recipes in the kitchen and staying active outdoors by running and biking on the beach. In his spare time, you can typically catch Dr. Nami reading a good book or planning his family’s next getaway. A fun fact about Dr. Nami is that he used to play professional soccer- until a knee injury sidelined his dream. Fortunately, he still enjoys playing the sport recreationally!
