Get to Know Dr. Eric Broe
Dr. Broe is the owner of Palm Leaf Dental in Nocatee and has been practicing dentistry for over a decade. Although he doesn’t currently practice full-time, you will likely still see him around the office! He’s revitalized by having the opportunity to transform his patients’ lives by improving their dental health and enhancing their smiles. His gentle demeanor and chairside presence make him excellent at helping patients overcome their dental fears. A primary focus of his is building lifelong relationships with his patients, allowing him to see the positive impact his work has on individuals and families in and around Nocatee. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
In high school, Dr. Broe had to get braces. The treatment didn’t just transform his smile—it transformed his confidence as well, which inspired him to become a dentist. He wanted to help patients experience the same positive changes that he did, and dentistry was the perfect field to be able to do that.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Broe completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University, where he got his degree in Biomedical Mathematics. He also started as an offensive tackle on FSU’s football team and was coached by the iconic Bobby Bowden!
Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Broe attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he earned his doctorate degree. Throughout his career, he has completed several hours of continuing education through the American Dental Association, including advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and same-day digital dentistry. His unique qualifications allow him to offer leading-edge treatments and deliver exceptional results for his patients.
Dr. Broe is also an active member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Broe keeps busy by doing yoga regularly and loves making the most of the beautiful Florida lifestyle with his family. That’s why you’ll always find him at the beach or going on bike rides with his wonderful wife and son!
